Can fascia and soffits be painted?
Yes!
We are able to spray uPVC or metal fascia soffits and guttering, including downpipes. Using our specialist 2K paints you can be sure of a long lasting solution for your discoloured fascias.
Do you need scaffolding?
When spraying fascias and soffits we usually try to work mainly from ladders where safe to do so. However, if access will be impossible or dangerous by ladder, we would require either scaffolding or MEWP hire such as a cherry picker or scissor lift.
Does the guttering need to be removed?
No. We are able to spray up onto the underside of the guttering ensuring everything that is visible is coated. Taking off and replacing guttering comes with the possibility of damaging the guttering and the chance of breaking any seals in the gutter joins.
Do I need to do anything in preparation?
All we require is access to power (electric socket) and that any obstructions are removed from the immediate area such as plant pots or garden statues. For cladding spraying or fascia, soffits and guttering spraying we do require you to have a company perform a freshwater clean of the surfaces to get rid of moss and other contaminants a few days before our arrival. We then perform a chemical clean as usual prior to any spraying to aid with the adhesion of the coating.
How long will it last?
The coating has an expected lifespan of 10 to 15 years. This can be maximised with regular cleaning and ensuring any abrasive debris is not left on the surface for long periods of time. Areas of harsher environmental impact such as southern-facing or coastal properties are subject to increased exposure to heat and salt air which can impact the lifespan of the product. This would still be expected to last at least 8 to 12 years.
What colours are available?
We have almost unlimited colours available for spraying your fascia, soffits and guttering. We are able to match most colours from most brands including designer brands such as Farrow & Ball and Laura Ashley. We can also match colours from standard paint suppliers such as Dulux, Crown and Valspar. Our main range of colours tends to be from the RAL Colour or NCS range of colours of which there are thousands of choices. The RAL colours tend to be what is used in the uPVC industry by most manufacturers. This means we are able to match any colour available from any manufacturer.
