Kitchen Spraying in Kent

Want a new kitchen? Are you limited with colour choices? Want to modernise the look of your home on a budget?

We spray paint all types of kitchen cabinets and doors – from solid oak kitchen doors, and solid high gloss kitchens to MDF doors with vinyl wraps across Kent and London. We are able to spray shaker style and slab doors and everything in between.

We can match all RAL & NCS colours as well as designer brands like Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Laura Ashely to name a few. We have multiple finishes available including matt (10% sheen) satin (30% sheen) and gloss (70% sheen) to name a few.

We use durable products that are able to withstand the rough and tumble of the busy family kitchen. With an obscene amount of colours and sheen levels available, your options are virtually unlimited. You truly can make your kitchen one-of-a-kind. We have more durable solvent-based coatings available as well as eco-friendly waterborne products (also very durable) available. We would love to listen to your requirements and advise you on the best options to suit you.

The whole kitchen spraying process takes approximately 5 days, with the removable items being taken away to be worked in at the workshop leaving you to go about your day as normal for most of the job. We only spend 1 day on-site where access to the kitchen is not possible. This is the least invasive but most bespoke service available when it comes to kitchen renovation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can we use the kitchen after spraying?

Whilst we advise you to try to avoid the kitchen in the immediate aftermath of the spraying of the carcass you will be able to use your kitchen immediately after we have completed refitting all of the doors and drawer fronts. I’ll process starts with us removing all of the doors and drawer fronts to take back to our workshop at this stage you are able to use your kitchen as normal just without the doors. Whilst we are away working on the doors you can continue to use your kitchen. We will return usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday to mask up, prepare and spray the carcass. This is the only day you will be unable to access your kitchen. Once we have packed up for the day we do recommend you avoid the kitchen for the rest of the evening. You will then be able to use your kitchen again the following days until we return and refit your doors and drawer fronts. Once these have been re-fitted our job is done, and you’re able to use your finished kitchen right away.

Are our pets/children ok in the house during the spraying process?

Depending on which products you have specified for your kitchen re-spray your pets and children would be best off not being present during the spraying process. If it’s possible for the home to be clear of pets and children during the on-site spray day this would be the best option, however, we understand this is not always possible and would request you retreat to the furthest room away from the kitchen. Once the kitchen cabinet spraying is complete the kitchen should be avoided for the rest of that day but will then be safe to use the following morning onwards.

Do I need to empty my kitchen cupboards?

No, you do not need to empty your kitchen cupboards. We mask around the internals of all cupboards which protects all items inside including food. Masking the internal edges means we are still able to access and spray all external-facing edges of your cabinets and carcass. The masking process takes the majority of the time for the on-site part of the job but ensures the whole process is as hassle-free for you as possible.

What types of kitchens can you spray?

We are able to spray most types of kitchens including solid wood kitchens such as oak or tulip as well as melamine, chipboard and MDF-wrapped kitchens. We use a substrate suitable primer which promotes addition to the surface and provides the perfect base for our topcoats.

What are the benefits of kitchen spraying / painting?

Having your kitchen sprayed can add value to your property as well as help improve your family time. After all, the kitchen is often the hub of the home!

Kitchen spraying offers a cost-effective alternative to replacing your kitchen. Having your kitchen sprayed doesn’t require any messy building work and is a much faster option compared to a full kitchen remodelling.

We also have unlimited colour options, from designer brand matches such as Farrow and Ball, Little Greene Co and Laura Ashley to standard paint brands such as Dulux. We also have multiple finish options available – from 5% sheen (dead flat matte) all the way up to 90% sheen (wet look gloss) with everything between including the most popular 10% (matte) and 30% (satin).

Do we need to have decorating / flooring / worktops completed first?

When having your kitchen sprayed we recommend that any building works such as flooring and worktops are completed first. We are then able to mask up and protect the surrounding areas avoiding any damage or touch-ups throughout your project.

We do recommend that the painting of ceilings and walls is completed either way in advance of our arrival or after the kitchen has been sprayed. This is due to the masking tape used to protect the surfaces. If going onto freshly painted walls that haven’t fully cured it can pull the paint off when de-masking. This is something that can happen on walls in general if the plaster wasn’t originally mist coated or there is some dampness. Whilst we use low tack tapes we do advise you to allow for a small number of touch-ins to the walls directly against the edges of the kitchen cabinets.

What is a dual colour design?

A dual-colour design is where there are two colours used on the same project. This is most often used in kitchens were the main cabinets will be one colour and the kitchen island another. Sometimes this can be the top wall fitted cabinets are single colour and the floor standing cabinets a different colour.

Can you spray inside my kitchen cupboards?

Whilst we are able to spray the internals of the cupboard this is not standard practice.

We do not recommend spraying the internals of your kitchen cabinets. The internals is subject to far more wear and tear than the externals, so to avoid excess damage such as scratching and chipping we usually only spray the external edges of the cabinets. We do however spray the internals of display cabinets where the doors are glazed and the internals of the cupboards are visible with the doors closed. This ensures the kitchen with the doors closed looks totally uniform.
